Would you like to move more easily, get rid of aches or pains, and have naturally healthy posture?

Do you want help for a child with special needs?

The Feldenkrais Method increases our self awareness and leads us to discover invigorating, pain-free ways to move and be-- whether it's playing the violin, swinging a tennis racket, lifting a child, getting in or out of a chair, or working at a computer. Recognizing the inseparability of mind and body, The Feldenkrais Method uses gentle, novel movements to access the brain's capacity to upgrade functional patterns. By bringing this process into our lives, we generally feel better about ourselves and our sense of possibility comes to life.

The Anat Baniel Method for Children, based on The Feldenkrais Method, helps children with special needs learn and develop unexpectedly high levels of physical, mental and emotional functioning.

I offer individual, hands-on lessons, group classes  and workshops to create a process for safe, easy, and long-lasting improvement.

Whether working with a small child or an adult, I use each lesson to guide the student further toward realizing their full creativity and potential.

"After only a few hands-on lessons with Lauren, some lifelong habits that I wasn't even aware of have started changing, and my neck, which was always tense, is not."
                                                                            -Dr. Susan Chew, veterinarian

                                                                         -Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais
